Ben is a mathematician and statistician with a strong interest in biological systems, who develops computational methods that help to uncover biological and epidemiological knowledge.
He directs Oxford's Schmidt AI in Science programme and is a Fellow of Reuben College Oxford.
Throughout his academic life, Ben has created freely available lectures on statistical methods published through his YouTube channel. In 2018, he published a textbook on Bayesian statistics.
